I’m a modern do-gooder with a passion for process, design and front-end development.
In my free time, I write at length on my blog, remark on Twitter, and publish With Families.
From November 2012 – November 2013, I worked full-time at NationBuilder: an accessible, affordable software platform that helps leaders grow and organize communities to achieve great things.
From 2010–2012, I was helping to move Maryland forward as the spokesman & communications director for Governor Martin O'Malley's Energy Administration and Department of Human Resources.
Prior to serving at the state-level, I spent two years in Baltimore's City Hall: working with neighborhood associations on behalf of the mayor and on legislative affairs in the city council.
